Biography
Ethan Chiampas, MSW is a Program Coordinator at the Workplace Center, part of Columbia University School of Social Work. He has diverse experience in direct practice settings, including roles in non-profit organizations, residential programs, and educational institutions, with a focus on supporting adolescents and young adults.
Currently, he is involved in the implementation of the YA WORC program, providing technical assistance and contributing to curriculum development. He is also involved in digitization and organizational change initiatives within the Center.
Chiampas was a Graduate Intern at the Workplace Center, where he collaborated with agency partners to facilitate the implementation of the YA WORC Program and contributed to the Center's anti-racism efforts. He also worked as a Social Work Intern at Bronx Regional High School, conducting individual therapy sessions and leading creative group activities for students.
He holds a BA in Music from Eastman School of Music, with a focus on Classical Double Bass Performance, and an MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work, with a concentration in Leadership, Management and Entrepreneurship for Social Justice.
