Program and Policy Development

Throughout its history, the Workplace Center has assisted leadership at all levels of public sector and non-governmental organizations to develop policies and implement programs responsive to employment for individuals at risk of not being able to secure or sustain connections to the world of work.  The Workplace Center supports leadership to:

  • Initiate collection of data needed to inform policy decisions and resource allocation
  • Assist with understanding the implications of data for policy and practice
  • Utilize research to develop operational, structural, and service program components
  • Conduct organizational analysis to inform strategic planning
  • Develop quality assurance indicators based on evidence-informed best practices
  • Update human resources policies to maximize their impact on hiring and retention of vulnerable individuals
