Biography

Felicia Akerele is a Program Coordinator at the Workplace Center, where she supports the implementation of YA WORC and manages the Center’s data infrastructure and evaluation process. Prior to joining the Workplace Center, Felicia spent time working in the fields of economic development, housing policy, and program development to gain a deeper understanding of challenges within vulnerable communities and multiprong approaches to solving such challenges within the public sector. She is interested in organizational management and the use of evidence-informed solutions to better address the challenges of those in low to moderate-income black communities. Felicia holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from New York University’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a B.A in Biopsychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
