Biography
Gwyn Kirkbride is a graduate of the Columbia School of Social Work with experience in domestic and international research, and program development, implementation and evaluation. Gwyn’s past experience includes work with the International Center for Child Health and Development (ICHAD) conducting research surrounding economic empowerment for young people living in poverty and impacted by HIV/AIDS, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa. Gwyn joined the Workplace Center team in 2017 and has since worked closely with Director Lauren Gates in continuing the development, implementation and evaluation of career readiness programming for vulnerable young people across New York State and New York City. As Assistant Director of the Workplace Center, Gwyn has had the pleasure of cultivating relationships with community partners and working to expand access to career readiness programming for vulnerable people nationwide.
